The Grahneis GmbH provides its customers with consultation regarding selection of the respectively appropriate base materials and additives: elastomer mixtures which possess special cushioning abilities, are especially abrasion resistant, electrically conductible, resistant to environmental influences or various chemicals. Depending on the composition, the elastomers may possess several of these properties simultaneously. The desired coloration can also be defined just as well as the hardness of the rubber, which, depending on the base material used, can be adjusted between approximately 25° Shore A and 95° Shore D.

There are also norm-compliant mixtures and adapted production methods at the ready for the foods, pharmaceuticals or drinking water sectors. Each specialized area has its own rules – and the Grahneis GmbH knows (just about) all of them. Depending on the subsequent area of application, the produced articles comply with the recommendations of the Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR, German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) as well the regulations of the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the directives of the Deutsche Vereinigung des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) (DVGW and KTW / W 270).
